Grazia Daily – You hear ‘Kendall and Kylie’ teamed with ‘TOPSHOP’ and you just wanna click ‘buy’, don’t you? Well, now you can. Because the second collection designed by the two sisters has dropped, and we’re guessing such will be its success, it won’t hang around for long…
Featuring an origami cropped top, a metallic mini and bomber jacket, and bundles of Mongolian faux fur, marble print and jersey, there is certainly something here for everybody.
“We’re so excited to be designing another line for TOPSHOP,” the girls revealed. “This collection reflects out favourite holiday fashion.”
Made up of a total of 15 pieces, the capsule collection follows the unbelieveable success of their inagurual line, which went on sale in June earlier this year.
“We really wanted to showcase our personal style but mix it up with a holiday twist,” the sisters said of their inspiration. “The holidays are always so festive and, of course, you have to have the right wardrobe for every occasion. We wanted to design a special line of pieces that capture both an elegant and edgy vibe.”
When asked what their ultimate Christmas party look would be, they replied: “You always have to add a little metallic or shimmer. It can be subtle but anything that sparkles best captures the spirit of the holidays. Also, knits are perfect for Christmas. A cozy oversized sweater is a definite go-to.”
Speaking about the up-coming holiday season, Kendall and Kylie revealed that Christmas is their “best time”. “Our family really makes it priority to take some time off from work to be around each other and actually spend quality time together,” they said. “We both live in our [own] places now, so it will be a lot of fun getting to have different holiday celebrations at each other’s houses for the first time.”
They claimed their favourite holiday tune is Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas, and labelled the festive decorations, the ‘highlight’ of the Jenner/Kardashian household. “Our mom is the expert decorator,” they explained, “so it’s a lot of fun getting really excited once she starts to whip out all of the decorations. She really gets into it. I think she’s made us a lot more excited and interested in decorating our own houses for Christmas.”
And what do these two girls (from one of the US’s most famous families) want for Christmas themselves? A mountain of presents? Nope! Just “lots and lots of love,” they replied, “for our family, friends and fans!”
